Description

I will recall the state of cosmology, and CMB science in particular, when I arrived at CITA in 1995, and then continue with a broad overview of its progression from then until now, before discussing current challenges to the standard model, in the form of various tensions, most notably the Hubble tension. I will also comment on the importance of my time at CITA to my own professional development, and my work then with Bond, Jaffe, and Scoccimarro.
